KinderPod FAQs

Quick answers on buying, delivery, seating, handling and support.

Buying & ordering
How do I buy a KinderPod?
KinderPod multi-seat strollers are purchased through the online store — browse the range, pick your configuration and check out.
What does it cost?
KinderPods are modular with up to 12 seating arrangements, so pricing depends on your configuration. Browse the shop for prices and bundle packages, or build your own KinderPod exactly the way you want it.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. We offer a Pay-as-You-Use plan with a 25% deposit (plus delivery) on any 3+ seat package. Choose the 25% deposit option at cart; your KinderPod is delivered, then the balance is paid in weekly instalments via a payment link emailed to you each week. Afterpay and Shop Pay instalments are also available at checkout.
Do I have to buy the extra seats up front?
No. You can buy a double base model on its own and add extra seats online later whenever your needs change — simple.
Delivery & shipping
Where do you ship from?
We ship direct to customers from our UK or New Zealand warehouse. KinderPods aren’t sold through retail outlets. If you have a specific requirement, just contact us.
How long does delivery take?
We hold UK stock, so delivery is around 5 working days door-to-door, with import charges already included in the price.
Size, storage & fit
Does a KinderPod fit in my car?
Yes — every KinderPod is designed to fold down and pack into the boot of an average-sized car.
Does it fit through standard doors?
The double buggy is 77 cm (30.3″) wide and fits through most standard doorways in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
What’s the weight of the buggy?
The Double KinderPod base is 15 kg; the Single base is 12 kg — comparable to other buggy brands.
Does it lock when collapsed?
Yes.
Seating & configurations
What are the seat weight capacities?
Main stroller seats hold 25 kg each. A single recliner baby seat holds 12 kg; a double recliner holds up to 8 kg per seat. Single and double toddler seats hold up to 15 kg per seat.
Can babies recline to sleep?
Yes. The reclining baby seats — and the main stroller seats — independently recline to just above flat, so little ones can nap on the move.
What’s forward vision like with top seats?
An optional adaptor bar mounts a single baby recliner to the side of the top position for better forward vision. For rear-position seating, follow the guidance in the manual.
Is it stable in every configuration?
Yes — tried and true over many years. Always follow the manual: heaviest children in the main seats first, then lighter children in the additional seats; disembark in reverse.
Handling & performance
Can I adjust the handlebar?
Yes. The telescopic handlebar slides in and out and locks to a comfortable height, with an extra 60 mm of height available for taller users.
Is it easy to push fully loaded?
Yes — it’s very easy to push and manoeuvre on reasonably level ground. It isn’t designed for off-roading beyond what the base models permit.
Will the brake hold on a slope?
For safety, never leave a buggy unattended, especially on a slope.
Solid or air-filled wheels?
Pneumatic (air-filled) tyres, for a comfortable all-terrain ride — even on the beach. Tubes are a standard worldwide size that most cycle shops can repair or replace.
Support & warranty
What’s the warranty?
A 12-month warranty covers any faulty items. See our returns and exchanges policy for details.
Can I get spare parts?
Yes — just contact us. We carry replacement parts and may ask for a photo to make sure we send the right item.
Do you do online demos?
Yes. Book a free online demo to see a KinderPod in action and ask questions.
Commercial & daycare
Are these suitable for daycare centres?
Yes. KinderPods are designed for families of multiples and pre-school settings — walk several children at once, safely harnessed. Many childcare centres use one or more KinderPods.
